The civil war is no exception. It was about centralized federal power. We ALL lost because of that TO THIS DAY. Everyone else did away with slavery without a single bullet.

The war wasn't fought over slavery. It was fought over taxes, and also dont forget that while me identifying as a republican all of you are going to call me a racist blah blah blah, whatever….I dont care, im a grown ass man. I can handle being called things…but don't forget it was a republican who abolished slavery, Republicans who got rid of Jim Crow Laws that were all started under democratic parties. So next time you call a republican a racist, look at the history of your party before you go calling at the kettle.
