I think a lot of the public eye view of Canseco is purely because of what they're told to think, Canseco would have been an all-time great if not for injuries (Mantle and Griffey were all-time greats despite injuries.) But, unlike all of these other guys; Canseco produced a supermodel daughter who's name is almost identical to his but nobody will accuse of steroids. I think he should pull a Satchell Paige and find some team that needs the publicity and get them to put him on the roster or make him a player/coach (ie play on days he feels like it, coach on a regular basis.) If he had not written that book, he might have gotten a coaching job; but the majority of the public know that was just a product of the time and enjoy reading his Lamborghini story (cops letting him off, not these days with body cams.) Imagine the headlines if he got 1 home run as a player coach at age 60 or something. It's been 20 years since he was blackballed (while equally obvious steroid user Barry Bonds was still playing for 7 more years.) His injuries added to making him a sacrificial lamb, if he hadn't been injured it would have been harder; but since he offered to work for minimum salary any team who had brains would have put up posters knowing he's a draw.
Wtf was that comment at the end? Was there a point where people thought the Steele Dossier was true? And the pee tape? Where is it? I swear, people just say shit, what a dumbass
Is the documentary “screwball”
That dude lost all credibility when he said Steele Dossier was proven true over time. He must get his "facts" from CNN.
Everyone juices in pros
