I think the Jungian archetypal analysis may be the most appropriate in this context. People who are ideologically possessed by woke PC or SJW ideas are the embodiment of those ideas. The discussion towards the end of this podcast where they ponder why it is that these people cannot engage in rationality debate, obey the rules of logic and science, etc., the reason is primarily because their ideology is an expression of something else – they are its embodiments, the ideas themselves have primacy, not the people carrying them, that's why so few of these people would be willing to be openly challenged in the public forum, that's why it is called ideological possession.
