An axolotl counts right?
If you believe Darwin’s theory of evolution where death becomes the hero you are a fool without question
It's actually wrong, evolution has created indeed immortal species: bacteria for instance, as long as the environment is really good for them, they don't actually have a life spam, they are "biologically immortal".
Concerning complex, lifeforms, as the biological machinery get more and more complex, each time a cell divides itself, or does its biological functions, it is bound to get a copying error in its genetic material somewhere somehow, those error can be circumvented to an extend, but as the time passes by, they will accumulate more and more to the point of systemic failure, although we've got examples of complex organisms living for thousands of year like some trees for instance, but their metabolism is slow in comparison to a mammal for instance, and so, the faster the metabolism the higher the probability of error occurring.
There are organisms that are Immortal Way to go Doc
Evolution is like a tornado passing through a junk yard, it only leaves destruction, not design. Evolution can't explain how every species has male and female? Who evolved first? Both had to exist for all species to exist.
