When Steve brings up the turtles on the side of the road, it sent me off on a tangent, it would be interesting if him or someone would include other foods/ingredl
ents that could be gathered and added into the cooking of game animals, things like wild onions, water cress, berries or others specific to the areas they are hunting, or fishing in.
The 'Complete Hunter-Gatherer Cookbook' in other words.
there's periods where joe doesn't say a word for a loooong itme. i love it!
I am a big fan of both Rogan and Rinella but that whole mentality of celebrating a successful hunt or fish being disrespectful to the animals is just ridiculous. Hunting and fishing requires sacrifice. Early morning and late nights, Hellish treks through vegetation and being eaten alive by insects. Not to mention the possibilty of going home empty handed. It costs money and time. If you're telling me that there shouldn't be a celebration or reason to holler when you're successful then something isnt right. I'm a little disappointed in these guys for not defending that point of view. I guess hunting and fishing for wealthy folks is a different experience. One where you sulk over your kill or catch then go home and dump more of your money and time into the sport. Dont understand it.
At 13:00 joe describes himself
