What if instead of Telling Facebook they have to allow everyone to use their services and ignoring their right to free association, we Instead push stronger free speech laws to decrease liability for publishing sites?
Shapiro comes off as more clever than other conservatives because he speaks fast and denies criticisms but he still has the same contradictions and persecution complex. Facebook is more similar to a TV network in which they have community standards of what they can show. NBC wouldn't show Triumph of the Will but Ben probably wouldn't consider that censorship. We already have people live streaming crimes on Facebook so we shouldn't complain about moderators. These arguments show that conservatives aren't comfortable with concentrations of wealth and power if they think it won't go their way, as in their attacks on George Soros. Do they want to reinstitute the Fairness Doctrine? Porn is legal but its not on YouTube because they reach general audiences and limit content accordingly. Oh, and people give to charity because they value a cause not because they "want to be seen as a good guy".
