Sir Roger Penrose OM FRS is an English mathematical physicist, mathematician and philosopher of science. He is Emeritus Rouse Ball Professor of Mathematics in the University of Oxford and Emeritus Fellow of Wadham College, Oxford.

Could microtubules that create an environment that can sustain quantum behaviour, and the potential for entanglement in those microtubules, explain phenomenon such as telepathy, or herd / flock synchronised behaviour? I don't believe supernatural stuff, but I do think commonly reported phenomenon probably are real in some way that isn't just "people being crazy". I think science makes us disblieve previously well known truths, when science simply has yet to catch up to our well honed intuition.
This is fascinating but I can't help but wonder where it all goes. So we figure out how consciousness works. What then?
