Damn ironic thoughts when he said the phone is a gift and a curse. IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN!! Back when they hung on the wall and mom stretches it across the kitchen to tend to something on the stove and maybe the cord yanks the hot pot of food onto the kid running thru the kitchen or she or the sitter is on the phone non stop and the kid down for its nap gets strangled in the mini blind cord. Or they're on the phone all day and dad comes in tired from work and can plainly see jack shit got done all day and affects the relationship, etc. etc. And now the phone is also our computer and ruins everything from our job performance to relationships or even finding a good person period.

Social media is filled with people that don't have real friends. Many are negative and bitter. Instead of experiencing life with real people they take pleasure in tearing down people who do experience life.
I miss my life before social media honestly 🙁
