I generally like the JRE. Being an older guy who was diagnosed with ADD later in life I didn't like the comments being made during this clip. This is not a joking matter for those who are really affected by ADD/ADHD. The problem seems to be too many obtaining Adderall or a similar formulation in order to increase their (……..) output. The reason the drug, Adderall or a similar formulation, works for people like myself is because we are missing/lacking specific brain chemicals. The reason I had started FIVE different post secondary programs and completed none is due to my brain being a bit messed up due to a brain chemistry issue. I know there is a lot of fun banter between Joe and his guests. All cool. Just don't burry the real reason for the medication due to a lack of knowledge on ADD/ADHD.

I got on to my kid for advertising Addy on Instagram. It meant address and l thought meant adderall too.
Anyone who is long term taking 5 -100 mg of Adderall per day is probably someone with ADHD who’s brain is working closer to how your non-ADHD brain works when on the drug than you would be on 5 mg of Adderall.
That’s what happens to me with stimulants because of ADHD. Stimulants mellow me out, but give me some energy. I actually have fallen asleep during the energy phase of crystal. Sometimes I wake up once or twice during the six hour energy phase and slowly walk around. With amphetamine, though, it doesn’t knock me out because it creates less dopamine than crystal. I love me some stimulants! I smoke cigarettes, but when I’m on crystal I might only smoke once or twice during those twelve hours.
An old friend of mine had adhd we would take dexanphetamine together (uk). The speed high was very strong, no gittery behavior other than this pure sense of higher euphoric focus. But after a year of using it I noticed some really bad side effects, like permanent tiredness, smoking loads of weed, super low hangovers, weird stomach sensation like pain but not pain. I would take 3 – 4 on a Saturday evening (10 mg each) but that was in 2022. I do miss it from time to time but after I went to Thailand I tried Kratom tea which was ten times better than speed but way safe and no horrible side effects.
