it's like watching a game of physical chess…… brilliant, I'm tall & slim due to being an ex pro cyclist & took me ages to get the courage to take up jiu jitsu because everybody else was short & thick set, but as it turns out my flexibility came in useful…… either way….a great sport & highly recommended
My first time in LA I nearly got into 2 situations where I'd have to defend myself & in that moment I realised I had no idea what I'd do & I'd probably freeze up. I was speaking to one of the guys I was staying with & he suggested trying Jiu-Jitsu & since doing it I definitely feel more confident & knowing that if anything ever did kick off, I'd be able to come out on top, or at least give myself better chances.
Bro I know this feeling usually if you have an intimidating look it can make you a bit of a sook but legit started a martial art class and if will help you be tough but you gotta stay humble because no one's the shit when they start
Why should it be more effective than judo?
