I really don’t think God is pleased when one Christian individual or organization casts aspersions on another based on their own private scripture interpretations and beliefs. I think that on the whole, contemporary Christian music honors God, ministers to hurting people, and points people to Christ. I actually believe that offering such blanket condemnation, implying that God has said things that he has not said is at its core, taking God’s name in vain. As much evil lurks in the weeds of legalism as it does in liberal license.
