The notion that the internet should be decentralized is the whole point here in my opinion. I remember 10 years ago there was a robust blog scene for house music, and a lot of indie labels and really talented artists who didn't have a lot of $$$ behind them. Now, there's spotify. And the music industry is thoroughly destroyed, and no one listens to music on the radio anyways, so there's nothing left. And no really interesting music is being made nowadays. Some of the best artists are struggling to find a platform or release albums.
One of the best JRE interviews I've seen. And I have watched a lot of the Joe Diaz ones, so that's saying a lot.
