Herb Dean and Big John McCaffery were just as big a part of my late childhood as Liddell, Griffin, GSP, etc. Early 2000's were the absolute golden years of UFC in my personal opinion!
Ha! I hate Herb’s refereeing. He sees a mouth guard come out and Herb stands there like, “It ain’t my teeth, keep fighting. Fine, if you’re going to look at me, point to your mouth guard, then indicate you want to have a mouth guard, I’ll stop it because I have to.”
Herbs great at his job. Respect. People don't realize how many people hate this man just for doing his job.

You have to balance allowing fighters to work with entertainment. You are doing this to get as many people to watch.
