Stephen is awesome, he laughs in the wrong moments (smiles) BUT, he also restrikts other things not very good and overcompensates (tryes to show stuff with smiling) so i would not say his face is punchable like lots of people seem to. But in the end i think this discussion was very important, Stephan seems to have superior arguments so far, BUT that does not mean it might be near or fully impossible effectively for some people to not be obeese consistantly. After all u could do surgery without narcosis or painkiller BUT it would be insane tourture and who knows what might happen, so u HAVE to take the bodys pain/feelings into account and may very well be totally wrong in saying "just work out, eat less, I can do it so u can too" Thats like saying im not sure u might be in pain but i dont need painkillers since my painreceptors are nonfunctional because of a rare disese/genetic variation therefore U should also do open heart surgery while being 100% contious and see how the doctors use a chainsaw to cut ur bones and open up ur chest. (that is a analogy that uses a extereme but (in the relevan spesifics) plausable scenario to demonstrate the problem if u argue like I wrote in the quotes ("").
Science need more people like Stephan or more importantly, citizens needs people like Stephan to break through the noise and debunk pseudoscience. The power of change in understanding and mindset exists in the collective mind of the citizens and from stephan they can learn how science should be conducted and used.
People get upset over how “rude” one guest is to the other and are completely unbothered by the way the other one spreads lies/misinformation and makes millions off of book sales by spreading bullshit…. but he’s saying it in a “nicer” way .
People value being lied to , as long as it comes out sounding politically correct
