Years later, after my graduation from highschool I realized how sad it is that most kids now are scared of life afterwards. Everything costs too much now
That’s why I go to a smaller university. Yeah there’s not much going on but I’m getting refund checks verses coming out thousands of dollars in debt for the same degree at a bigger university.
When I went to Auburn to see my old friend, who was a professor there. He took me to the university to show me around. We went to the just opened new student recreation center. It cost millions to build. It was impressive. When we walked out, I asked him what does this place have to do with education. I said we paid $30 an hour at the University of Missouri at Rolla. This was a top engineering school. I said what kind of student debt do these kids end owing $60,000. He said more than that. I asked why the university didn't use the money they spent on that complex to lower tuition. He didn't answer. He said they had several other multi-million dollar building to build. His wife was a school teacher. I told them I think college should only be two years. If you cut all the bullshit classes that you don't need. It's stuff you should have learned in high school or will learn through life. They both were totally against that.
You aren’t paying for the education you paying for the name
