Nah this guy is way wrong here. Sure men need more ways in which to work through their emotional and psychological issues, but only those pre-disposed to homosexuality want to "kiss on the cheek as boys and hold hands".
The necessity for men to operate as a team is essential. To encourage one another and inspire each other is needed, it's the inability of men to not see hiw they pull each other down through competing excessively or trying to break each other's spirit. That is detrimental.
Father's play a huge role. If you're too authoritarian, too restrictive, always belittling and mocking, always angry at the news, and projecting your own shadow and insecurities, then you instill negative and uncertain associations about how boys should be.
There's always this thing with men whereby the "rules" are something we have to figure out. We're never given a playbook, and when we are our competitive nature looks for ways in which to weaponise the playbook in order to gain an advantage.
So there's a dichotomy of "do what's right for the team" and "do what's right for yourself".
The maternal imprint also affects how boys try and connect or relate to others. Too critical and the boy is likely to cave in to authorities that are feminine, too censorial on what they can do, see, or say, and they will be uncertain of themselves socially. Too encouraging of everything they "can be" and they will develop narcissism.
And if one parent is always positive encouragement and censorship, whilst the other is all negative criticism and will erosion, but likewose projects false strength in their own authority. Then the "rules" and the "boundaries" become difficult to navigate.
He's right that sensitivity and emotional intelligence in most men isn't developed until later in life. And that's because we aren't taught how to have self-awareness for how some of our behaviours impact others.
But to say everything is generalised and all men are the same? Nah we're not. Just as not all women are the same. Even a Myers Briggs test will highlight just how different each person is.
And when we get into anima posession in men, or animus posession in women, or even shadow aspects of masculinity and femininity in men and women, then it gets really abstract on what personality or soul actually is.
It's this aspect of subconcious Jungian archetypes that we see manifested in things like LGBTQIA and much of the projections and the cognitive dissonances between left and right political paradigms.
It's all soul projection, all the collective sub-conscious dichotomies which then play out in the social dramas. And the weaponisation of these dichotomies by propagandists that want to control the world soul.
We are tiered beings:
Layer 1: The rational/material. Everything is logical. Defined. Solid and objectified.
Layer 2: The psycho-social/psycho-sexual. How we like to appear. How we fit in social dynamics. Morals. Ethics. Politics. Laws. Conduct. Connection. Sexuality
Layer 3: The psychological. The introspective and objective analytical view of the personal landscape. How we have developed in life, what has shaped our experiences, what causes the trauma-loops. How our subconscious associations operate. It is the bridge between our concious experiences, and our subconcious landscape. The bridge towards the spiritual and metaphysical.
Layer 4: The spiritual and metaphysical. The gnosis of interconnected experience. Jungian synchronicities, divine wisdom, numinous experiences. The non-rational landscape, dark nights, divine bliss. The bridge towards enlightenment.
Layer 5: The fully realised being. Extra-sensory perception, prophetic abilities, non-linear capacity, performance of miracles, mastery over the elements.
Layer 6: Non-manifest self. Dissolved entirely into oneness. No physical or spiritual separation from source. No longer existing in the four realms. Nirvanna.
Gender dichotomies are stumbling blocks, as are the rational clingings to identities and labels. But at the material level those conceptual transliteral semiotics are required for everyday practicalities.
Ultimately the function of the metaphysical concept of the trans-mundane comes into effect. Those who are on the brink of breaking through to non-dual understandings begin to see the liquidity of gender archetypes, but haven't yet fully integrated their psychological or spiritual gnosis of non-dual concepts, so the outward projection plays out in the way that it does.
And this complexity of the abstract is where post-modernism has left everyone reeling for understanding. It destroys all concepts through deconstruction, but leaves nothing to be re-assembled into a model which anyone can integrate. And this creates significant societal damage.
When there are no limits to defining your own material and psychological self, then the model of social norms becomes entirely eroded. That then creates alternative divisions within the psyche.
Shamans would often undertake these types of process. Often dressing as the opposite gender, and performingbrituals which would bridge them between the dichotomies in order to reconcile the tribes collective soul problems and tangles.
When a culture plays with such psychological themes as an ego-trip or as a form of luxury and sexual-materialism, then it risks some very catastrophic outcomes.
Progress when it has no critical and objective analysis can then see objective process run away like a train. All checks and balances are ignored as everything is approved on only a subjective basis. Ultimately when all unuversal soul consciousness is one, then it won't prevent any reality from occurring, even a load of clever monkeys turning themselves into robots.
When people truly begin to understand shamanism, hinduism, buddhism, and the esoteric principles at work in all religions, then collectively we are more attuned towards understanding what ethical, moral, political, and scientific extremes can lead towards what type of outcome.
At present the world is worshipping some very Saturnine energies and some very Kali type energies. The world is increasingly in it's shadow due to the technocracy, transhumanism, and post-modern deconstructionism of norms and boundaries.
The balance of this has potential to move the world into a new Dark Age and away from enlightened principles.
Infact the overabundance of information has actually been a catalyst for this. Now we see the authority of church, state, military, and war aim to bring objective truth back towards the concretised and dogmatic understanding.
Humanity isn't ready for the type of leap required by which to fully integrate the experiental potentials and abilities. Our rational minds still struggle with letting go, and our non-rational minds don't know how to struggle with dichotomies. So we continually become caught up in this churn and repeating patterns.
We live in Maya, where Samsara and Nibbhana are always a hairs bredth apart.
It's far more nuanced than men should be this and women should be that.
