Take away athletic scholarships. Athletes become employees, which allows for them to have reduced or free tuition at many universities. Just like every other job (outside of politicians), fire the ones that don't perform. Too many turnovers? Fired. Too many missed routes or assignments? Fired. Too many penalties or fouls? Fired. You contributed to your team losing? Fired. It's time to stop holding the privileged's hands.
They got paid by getting to go to college for FREE! All expenses paid, don’t have to worry about paying off student loans for the rest of their lives. And now they’re still called amateurs? When some of them are making close to a million dollars? It doesn’t make any sense.
The vast majority of college sports programs don’t even make money! Where is this money supposed to come from exactly?
You should really consider interviewing Tillman Breckenridge on the show. He was specifically highlighted by Justice Brett Kavanagh as integral to the recent SCOTUS decision backing college athletes and is a constitutional scholar. Black attorneys doing good work don't get highlighted enough.
Oh so they can pay people to take there test! And pay them for just for the money and not focus! This won’t even last long! That’s okay for them to get paid and college student can’t even afford a dorm or text book and food! F up world we live! And the one superstar player gonna get more? Than the bench player this doesn’t even make any sense! I thought once your on scholarship they paid for everything?! I barely couldn’t afford college when I went!
