I educated my daughter she has a brain. She does not wear makeup, and dresses for her, comfortably. I feel children are missing out on being children. I made mud pies. If I got mud on my clothes, it did not matter. And that is how I raised my daughter.
Childhood is so short, it's important to really play and have fun. We are adults for a long time.
The Masai culture has men braiding their hair, and putting “make up” on ( they paint their bodies and face red), and tons of jewellery. Women shave their heads and don’t wear painting. Again, the make up thing is not exclusively female.
Watching Russel's interview with Joe, I realise that Russel has a keen eye for human behaviour. He has some gestures that show that he is quite attentive to Joe and reads him well and is able to adapt to the discussion in a way that makes the conversation flow naturally instead of it being forced or becoming uncomfortable. I love this kind of people. they are easy going and pleasant to be around as long as they have healthy boundaries.
It's weird how "bitch" 'as a man' means being weak, and "bitch" as a woman means being uppity.
