  1. everything to a certain extent is a construct. our brians construct reality out of patterns of energy, or quantum waves, or atoms, or whatever ultimate reality actually is. so yes, everything is a construct. the color red is a construct. all the colors are a construct, its just how our eyes read energy. it doesnt change the fact that there is a color red, and empirically everyone sees the color red. philosophically what anyone and everything is, is a mystery, that we construct to understand so we can survive. empirically, men and women have different physical, hormonal, emotional, and cognitive makeups.

  2. I love my body and feel beautiful, but I get so much unwanted attention by men whenever I dress in any kind of even "somewhat revealing" clothing so I often choose not to wear any revealing clothing to protect myself and maintain my safety, preventing as much sexist behavior as possible i.e. to help prevent more sexual harassment, which I have endured at nauseam and get sick and tired of battling and standing up for myself when I simply want to have a nice, peaceful experience be it in the grocery store or a park or wherever. This harassment happens excessively when I dress the way I want to and since our society (and jealous women included here) has not yet learned how to respect women who dress in skirts and high heels and (specifically when I just simply wear a long unrevealing skirt instead of jeans, this happens) choose instead to sexually objectify them, I will continue to choose safety over my comfort more often than not. And I still end up needing to stop what I am doing to advocate for myself against being disrespected even when I wear jeans, sometimes.

  3. How about the social construction of everything that’s being imposed on society since the constitution of the lgbtq+ movement

All those “gender” identities did not exist a few yrs ago. That is absolutely constructed as well as the behavior and mannerisms of how one should be if part of that community, are also a social construct from a relatively new social dynamic within society

And the fact that primitive man responded a certain way would indicate that that repose was in fact instinctual, as opposed to the cultural and societal influence needed to override and condition people to respond differently which would indicate that the other is a construct and not behavior we naturally would have an affinity for

  4. Russel Brand isn't at expert on anything at all. Not a good singer, actor, writer, comedian and clearly journalist. Very good at cashing in and ignoring his principles. I like him though. Its what makes this so disappointing.
