The film 2001 a space odyssey I think about a lot, it’s not like that film was off the wall robots turning on us and wiping us out like the terminator but it was just a poetic gesture, but even back then being really well done where the robot that humans made, and that just are programmed to protect itself turned on them. HAL feels so real and it’s a machine, it’s not actually a person but it’s it’s own mind, it’s like a cycle of evolution
