  1. I have been battling food addiction for 20 years and ultimately education has helped a lot. In theory, all I ever needed to know is you shouldn’t eat too much and should exercise more. That works for most people.

    But when you read food labels and look up how much sugar, sodium, fat the average person should eat in a day and how these junk foods have so much more you suddenly realize you’re poisoning yourself. That got me to see bad food as poison to be avoided.
