I love this dude, lol.
Watched News Radio and Fear Factor as a kid. Liked Joe on both. Followed Joe as a UFC commentator. I think he's one of the best sports commentators in the world. Now I've also listened and watched Joe's amazing podcast for years.
But I also think he's a meh stand-up comedian. He's fun on his podcast. As a stand-up? He doesn't really do it for me. I find Russel's stand-up much funnier and better constructed, also way more clever. I just find it odd that Joe is almost talking down to Russel here like there's only 1 way to refine your material and it's the LA comedy club scene way.
I personally dont find Joe's stand up very funny but i find him funny when he does podcasts hes the same as Diaz, that dude is funny as fuck when hes just chatting shit with his friends but i dont find his standup funny.
I had no idea Russel was so well spoken.
