We are here because our ancestors were good hunters. It's our innate nature. Still love Russell, though.
fishing, hunting, veganism, none of it alone is sustainable, gotta do it all and the human diet..well you gotta eat it all, land must be used and animals as well must be used, humans entered the world and disrupted the balance, and we have to restore it..constantly as the human population grows and spreads and demands more of the Earth, so plant trees..create less waste..pay for hunting and fishing licenses and national park permits..and that's how you help the animals
"if you're not killing these things it's not like they gonna live forever" – what a great argument and reason to take some creature's life for personal pleasure. Many child and women traffickers use the same excuse for what they do.
"if everyone went out and hunt animals there'd be no animals left which is true, but I'm not everyone" – great way to take responsibility for your own actions. Just the type of excuse each of 8 billion people who throw plastic in garbage every day use, and as a result we have several continents of garbage in the oceans and each individual consumes about 15 grams of microplastics every week which is proven to cause DNA mutations. Not to mention that with the current rate of fishing we will empty the oceans by 2050.
"I've let go of judging people for things I don't agree with" – so when people were conducting slavery, holocaust or are today pedophiles or something else that's objectively not humane, we shouldn't judge it but respect everyone's choices in life?
