I am used to say that has many bridges to guide you to this knowledge, Ayahuasca is one of then and every cultures their own path but at the end this bridges will guide you to the same Island. Many perspective over the same "consciousness". Some cultures uses music, words as a pray, old books which was written by people that saw the end of this bridge and in this mix have the Ayahuasca wich my culture uses (I was born in Amazonia)
Ayahuasca came from the waters of life.

imagine being a guy in the amazon just drinking tea and thinking: 'meh, this is getting bland. lets mix these two teas together' and then accidentally finding this out and getting catapulted into Egyptian space with elves and flying pony's, that's possibly how someone found out about ayahuasca
