44:22 Brian clearly was trying to play the “unproblematic” token black guy role and ended up making himself look like a fucking idiot. Incentivize parenting as an alternative to reparations? Also he assumes that every black parent isn’t in their kid’s lives which isn’t true. What a disgrace.

HIV is what is known as a retrovirus. This essentially means that the virus enters into a cell and integrates itself with the genome in order to reproduce using the host cell’s machinery. Then, it will kill the cell and release the progeny to infect other cells. It has a predilection for white blood cells, particularly lymphocytes, which results in the immunodeficiency associated with HIV/AIDS. The integration into the host genome makes it impossible, essentially, to eradicate as you can’t create a drug that destroys host cells to go after all the virus, because you’d kill the host if that makes sense.
