Idolatry is one of the hallmarks of the beast and it will be utilized in setting up the mark of the beast. The very same church that claimed to have changed the day also erased the commandment against graven images from the 10. The beast will set up a graven image representing itself that is to be worshipped as a test of allegiance to the beast. This graven image will be set up in public places and also possibly all of the churches such that everyone will be required to pay homage to and worship at the graven image of the beast.
Also, the original sunday law didn't just say to observe sunday. At the same time, It required everyone to work on the seventh day so the sabbath was violated both ways. The new sunday law will be enforced in the same way by paying homage to the image, observing the false sabbath while at the same time breaking the true sabbath.
There are 2 technologies being developed by Elon Musk that will help to facilitate the implementation of the mark of the beast. Starlink is one. This provides internet access to every point on the entire globe. Even today there are many places that do not have any internet access. Global internet access by everyone will be a requirement to implement and enforce the mark of the beast.
Neuralink, also a Musk company, MAY be another technology used in the mark of the beast. A neural implant could be set up to work in such a way that it would drown out the voice of the Holy Spirit within a person's mind as well as becoming a counterfeit for the voice of the Spirit. Neuralink can also detect if a person is telling the truth or not so it will know and could report to authorities whether someone has or has not accepted the mark of the beast.
