  1. Wait wait wait I live in ohio let me tell the story.

It was more state government propoganda. Yeah these rich ohioans footed the cost to get the bill pushed. Bit because we had a prior bill die involving a jp morgan chase bank and the freezing of the account of a marijuana advocacy group. Not joking. Yes those rich ohioans wouldve had the most stake in the would be industry.

Personal cultivation, up to 1 lb of personal, very extensive medicinal.. everything was there. But then the bill got closer. Enter mike dewine and john kasich. We all know the story. "It creates an oligarchy monopoly!" Smear campaign the bill! They went all in on ohioans not reading it. And got the bill to fail.

And then the medicinal bill ohio did get is a stripped down version of what was. With john kasick saying it was something ohio can be proud of. Its been years and we still arent even close to other states have already been doing.

And people said "but its okay we pass THIS one and we can ammend it later"

Oh yeah and there was this other bill called is 2 that did pass. It was an "anti monopoly" amendment. Keep in mind this was all after the state legalized casinos…. ironically.

  2. I heard years ago when legalizing marijuana started to gain acceptance, big tobacco companies already had done their research on marijuana and have their products ready to go as soon as the law changes. There has always been a tax stamp available to anyone who wants to get into the marijuana business, but the cost for the stamp is so prohibitive that only big corporations can afford it. Even when marijuana becomes legal, it will be regulated, taxed and controlled like alcohol, it will still be illegal for the average citizen to grow, like moonshine. The corporations will own the patent and you cant beat them.
