Man, I live in Phoenix… Yes it's not the best city in the world, but it's a city with a shit ton of people. Most people just have shit taste like Carlos Mencia and Sheriff Joe Arpaio. I think the heat fucks with old peoples brains. The local music scene isn't much better either. Everything and everyone is so divided we lack strong communities of people making big changes. There are pockets in Downtown, Central Phoenix, Tempe, Peoria, West Phoenix, Mesa, and Chandler, but everyone has a survival of the fittest attitude. People think others have to fail for them to succeed. People just lookout for themselves and don't give a fuck about anyone else. Ultimately, what would you recommend to an aspiring, broke comedian who lives in a shitty scene like Phoenix?
