I went to a Cypress Hill show back in 92' in L.A when they first started and I remember the sound going out and Ice-T joining them on stage and I believe him or someone else started beat boxing and Cypress rapping over it. I believe Kid Frost was also there, too.No Sound, No Problem!! It was a classic moment!!!
I was an 11 year old Beatles/Journey/Roy Orbison obsessed aspiring guitarist… and then I heard Hits From The Bong. First time in my life rap made sense to me, and I have Cypress Hill to thank for opening an entire HUGE expressive and funky genre up to me. Skull n Bones is an amazing album.
