All it takes is a Kickboxer to be on JRE, and all of a sudden the MMA fans come out and question the Kickboxer's skill and how he'd "fail" in MMA. Lay and pray is what would happen to Doumbe and THAT isn't skillful. In Kickboxing, you don't have a takedown to save you. And what good are 4 oz gloves if you spend most of your time shooting for takedowns rather than using those gloves to swing at people?

i love glory saying that i think muay thai to mma transition wouldn't be that alien due to muay thai putting out high level strikers as well and there are plenty of quick moving style of muay thai like muay matt and femur
