FCK YALL, ITS THEIR JOB, FIGHTERS JOB, IF THEY ARE TOO HEAVY FOR THEYRE WEIGHT CLASS MOVE UP, NOT DOWN BUT PEOPLE DONT DO THAT BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY CANT PUT THAT UP
The sheer fact that this kind of policy is normal in collegiate and high school wrestling should be reason enough to implement it in mma. You're either gonna be a beast weight cutter, and a mediocre fighter, or you're gonna to it right, and get big when you're not in season or fighting and focus on getting better. We'd do crazy cuts in wrestling at times, but everyone knows that once you learn to do it right, you can just be at your best more often. Healthy rules to keep athletes safe and healthy should be a priority everywhere.
I would love for weight cutting to be stopped, but it's gotta come from the fighters. Fighters need to be the ones to realize what's happening to their bodies and make the change. The UFC can do it's part with hydration tests and all that, but then we'll have more "failed tests" and things like that. Fighters and coaches have to be the ones to put an end to this

One FC have a great talent for making massive claims and doing nothing to back it up.
ONE fighters are probably on much more PEDs than USADA tested UFC fighters.
