What a lot of people don’t understand too is that ISIS isn’t just people it’s an idea. You can’t just bomb ISIS and kill them all. ISIS is based on religion, their will always be someone believing in that idea trying to radicalize people.
hell yeah!
As a Canadian I gotta say that sometimes Americans think they live in the best country in the world. All the freedoms and opportunities they described exist in other parts of the world like Canada as well as most of Europe. America is great but I’d also argue that they have just as many problems. ps this was a great podcast and much respect to Dakota.
With the video games I can understand where someone can become desensitized to violence but speaking from experience it’s not all like that. I can play a game where I’m shooting people in the head and as soon as I turn that console off I’m back to reality. I respect soldiers and I would never pretend as if what they do is insignificant. I could never pick up a rifle and willingly put myself in the face of danger, I could never look through my sights and put a round into a human being’s skull because I value life and I believe no one deserves to die and I’m sure I’m not alone with this belief so I don’t necessarily agree with the generalization that video games or movies desensitizes people……I’m not deny that it does either I just believe that not everybody is desensitized
Crazy 28 mins of decent conversation then rogan asks the typical question everyone asks, how many did you kill? Really?
