I was addicted, heavy use. Injecting, for a good 12 years. Never once did I get a hit that made me lean in and then come back up like you see in the movies. I was shooting all kinds of shit but morphine was definitely my favorite. It got to a point that I wouldnt even do anything for days if I couldnt do morphine, I would go sick before I would do H or anything. Started out snorting shit but after a year or so, if i couldnt inject it, i didnt want it. My addiction wasnt from abuse, it started from being given tylox and loratab and perks for kidney issues, i had a badly damaged kidney from passing kidney stones and I was being given so many pills at the age of 21, by the age of 25 I was a full blown junkie, wouldnt do it if i couldnt shoot it and would hold off doing anything at all if i couldnt get morphine to blast in my veins. I am now 12 years sober, I did so much damage to my body, I am surprised to be alive right now, I have stage 2 liver disease, stage 3 kidney disease, i shit ton of vitamin and blood deficiencies, I had a heart valve replaced and my heart no longer beats on its own at all, i am in complete heart block and depend 100% on a pacemaker to keep me alive. I have extreme vessel and nerve damage, not even from injecting but from all the fluids my body held for so long, i carried 40lbs of fluid on me for a good 4 years. Drug abuse will ruin your life and kill you and at no point will you ever take a hit, slump over and go to another place and then come back and be like "wow, that was intense", you dont go anyplace. I do not understand why people do that in movies, it piss's me off every time I see that shit. Coke will make you puke if you get a crazy shot, dope will make you puke if you get a crazy shot, morphine will make you puke if you take a crazy shot, but what it doesnt do is take you out of your head for a few moments and go someplace else, that doesnt happen.
This guy is annoying, everytime joe opens his mouth to give him advice he jumps over him like a little child , i really tried to listen to this whole thing , but between the absolute excessive cursing, the interrupting , and yelling when talking i just cant . Word of advice when u have a chance to listen to a self made man like joe why dont u try doing more hearing and less talking .
