Crossbows have brought a lot of older people back in the sport. If I bowhunted I would use a crossbow because I had a stroke and can't pull back a regular bow anymore.
My friend Tom doesn't even go rifle hunting anymore except when he takes his grandkids out and that is just a backup for them.
He got a buck with a handgun a couple years ago when I was out hunting with him. It was I think a Dan Wesson .44.
Now he takes his 357 magnum out with him.
He spends Wednesday night through Sunday morning every weekend hunting now that he is retired. His son's put up a decent box stand for him a few years ago.
He saw a bunch of eight pointers there this year that he saw them as spikes a few years ago. He is going to wait two more years before he shoots one of them.
Joe – are you hunting because you're HUNGRY and can't afford to buy groceries? That's one thing. OR – are you hunting because you want to KILL SOMETHING?
Either way joe is promoting hunting
