  1. Love tht Joe's n2 hunting. The only knock I have against him is all his hunts are guided. The only way to truly get better is to do all the dirty work like scouting, setting up food plots, hanging stands and spending hours, days, months and years in the woods mastering how the animals behaves. Learning the trails, water wholes, bedding and food areas.

  2. From what I hear, the way he promotes hunting is actually bad for other hunters and hunting as a whole. Theyre all guided tours on private land so apparently the bulls he shoots are metaphorically, standing right in front of him when he shows up which is not at all realistic or even a challenge really with today's technologies. He's definitely not an expert on anything about it really.

  3. I used to work at a ski resort and that resort and the one across the street had some massive elk but they didn't allow hunting on the land at all.

I used to ride my mountain bike right through the middle of these elk and they were so used to people they didn't even move

I worked for a rancher and he had people that paid to go hunting on his thousands of acres of ranch land plus the public land next door. They would hunt all the different seasons and he would wait until the last season when they were down in his hay fields and shoot one and throw it in the tractor bucket and butcher it in his shed.

It reminded me of whitetail hunting on our land…I would be out in a tractor in the field and the deer would just ignore me as long as I stayed on the tractor. They would sometimes be like twenty feet away. As soon as I stopped the tractor and got down they would blast on our of there.

We couldn't actually rifle hunt there because we were still in the city limits but my dad would let me go bowhunting in the back pasture where they would sneak under an apple tree behind our garage.
