I Live 14 miles away from the biosphere in Oracle Arizona. The biosphere was not a success, rather it was a failure. Within a couple months of the scientist being sealed inside of the biosphere, two of them were seen at the Circle K convenience store buying thirst Busters. Good idea in theory, complete scam in reality.
In a balanced environment the weak deserve to die, that is the way of life. But in our way of life as humans we do have surplus in some instances so we choose to feed the weak. I often think of how we can justify killing healthy animals to feed weak humans, especially ones that provide no value to society or the environment.
