voting is a civil responsibility.. felons have proven that they are not capable of acting responsibly.. now once theyre out there should be a path to get their voting rights back.. OH WAIT, thats already a thing
I'm sorry, but prisoners having the right to vote is crazy. Especially when the prisoners are the actual horrible people who did serious crimes (yes there are the few that slip in the cracks but a prisoner is in prison because they are considered a danger to society, others, and possibly themselves, and allowing them to vote is letting them influence our society which kind of goes against the whole idea of prison. Does the system need refinement? Yes it does, and it always will need to improve as we evolve as a species and as a community, but this idea is bat$hit insane.
