Im from Sussex in England many older people I feel sound 'posh' like my nan and grandad, however I feel us (23 years old) talk quite 'cockney' for emample; " mum I'm goin' to the shops, what kinda' 'erbs and spices you want.
Americans think here in the UK either we talk with accents like the royal family or Jason Statham that's it!!!
I see him (her?) and all I can hear is "Did you dry these trays in a fucking rain forest?"
