Greed can definitely get out of hand and cause havoc, but it can also provide the world with amazing products that they never would have otherwise. If you're one of those people who wishes anarchy will someday sweep the world so you can finally be "free", you must prepare yourself for the fact that all of the technology you currently rely on will disappear within a few centuries. Computers will cease to exist. The internet will cease to exist. Everything ever stored on computers will become inaccessible to future generations and die. Vaccinations, sanitation, and proper health care in general will cease to exist after enough time. Money is incentive, and while it can and has corrupted many individuals, it has also provided us with every piece of technology we own. Sure, go have your anarchy, but while you and your family are forced to join a barbaric gang of marauders, and you die of food shortage or withering away in the cold winter, I'll be sitting in my house that was built with greed, taking a sip of hot chocolate from a mug made with greed, and browsing videos of you fuckers starving to death on the internet you will no longer have access to.
