Just to clarify, the gamma knife he is talking about is not for cavernoma but for small tumors (brain tumor for example) and is not a surgery device. Gamma knife is a linear accelerator in the end of a arm-type robot that is moving freely around the patient to irradiate the tumor. The advantages of that is to irradiate small tumors that are often placed around very sensitive healthy tissue that the doctors want to spare.
