That kid who got the lobotomy was Howard Dully. He wrote a book about his experiences getting a lobotomy when he was twelve. He was one of the luckier lobotomy victims because he was young, and your brain is constantly growing and is easily molded when you're that age. He only got a lobotomy because his stepmom didn't like him after his birth mom died of cancer.
Thank God they stopped in the 40’s or 50’s if not heavy metal would have Never been a thing….
