Like joe says these people trying to diminish what this guy did is pathetic
Idc what parameters either him or the Norwegian used, what they did/still do is incredible
They shoulda got insta ramen and hot water instead of boiling water food thingies
when the entire polar exploration community comes together to sign a letter https://www.adventure-journal.com/2020/02/accomplished-polar-explorer-community-defends-nat-geo-expose-on-colin-obrady/ saying that Colin's claims are not factual then you know this is more than a "he said he said" debate. but hey it ultimately comes down to national geographic, esteem alpine climbers, the professional polar adventuring, exploring and guiding community's words against Colin's words. I listened to both sides trying to be as biased as I could but everytime Colin's statements fall short. if I was in Colin's shoes and Conrad Anker would say what he did about the expedition I would go radio silent and try to prove myself even more. but I'm just spitballing here. I don't know Colin's situation and what arrangements he has with his sponsors and publishers. we live in an increasingly complex society
Unfortunately Colin does not grasp the "ethos" of moutaineers and polar explorers — the idea
of understatement and respect. Just a clash of culture. Polar exploring community just slammed him.
Prolly an amazing person or whatever but I’m not listening to someone this annoying. Sounds like the guy that tells you their life story in a bar even tho you haven’t replied once
