Russia is not creative? Do you realize that they have produced some of the worlds greatest authors and poets, paintings, classical music, architecture, mathematicians and scientists? Russia is GORGEOUS. The reason that you don't buy much that is Russian is:
1. they screwed themselves with communism
2. ever since communism they have been the world's whipping boy. It's the one country you can shit on in any context and cannot support for any reason in America.
All the former Soviet states have basically put all the sins of the Soviet Union onto Russia in an effort to suck up to the US and NATO. That's like if the US broke up and all the former states put all the Democrats' sins (slavery, internment, medical experimentation, jim crow, segregation, etc) on the back of DC and claimed that they were all 'captive' of DC during the USA. Russia is a fabulous country and culture. They may not always have good politics, but we certainly don't either. The reason they love Putin so much is that he is a patriot through and through. Everything he does is for them. Bad in our eyes, but great in theirs. They look past some of the violence and corruption because they have an attitude like 'that's what it takes'. We have our own version of that. You attribute mysterious deaths of critics as fact that he had them killed, yet you treat mysterious deaths of Hillary's critics as a conspiracy theory. There is no more evidence for one than the other. All-in-all, Russia and Russians are fiercely loyal to their people and will defend territory, heritage or ethnicity to no end, but they generally want everyone to just piss off and leave them alone.
10:50 You have totally misunderstood the Russian stance on LGBT. They don't toss you off buildings, that's the middle east. It's not illegal to be gay. This propaganda law you are showing arose during our own debate regarding gay marriage, and it basically says "we can have these discussions as adults, but you aren't allowed to bring it to children" IE you can't "win" the argument by taking over schools and educating children to your opinion, you can't pass out fliers or post billboards advertising your views, etc. That's literally it, they are just saying that these topics are adult in nature and should be sorted out by the adults. It was a reaction to all the bullshit underhanded tactics they saw going on here in the US. Perfectly reasonable.
Letting all the creepy lgbtq wierdos have too much power gives you the current broken USA. Go8ng too far right you get Russia. We need a happy medium
London ,Bristol ,Liverpool ,Birmingham,Coventry ,Plymouth etc etc where bombed to shit ,I know Germans lost there lives through bombing but at the end of the day they had to be stopped.The Germans had to be stopped before they ruined the world with with fascist concentration camps and the end of genetic human breeding,at the end of the day the vast majority of Germans where pro hitler and didn’t care when they bombed innocent civilians who didn’t want war .
