I agree, I'm old now but was in the Navy from 1991-97. Got the boot camp at 17 in the Nuke program. Got busted in Nuke school for underage drinking because ones of my classmates/shipmates ratted on me and some friends.. If it wasn't for a letter my Mom wrote to the captain, I would have been de-Nuked.. but he thought that rule/law was bs so he's just busted us down in rank and went to NADSAP. Regained My E4 and graduated. But that law in Orlando was 18 until 1989. Weird how drinking age has changed over the years in AMERICA and not other countries
