Great podcast but I feel like they missed the mark on the gentrification of austin and other cities. If you're well off I'm sure it seems not as bad as if you're not and rent and cost of living are driven sky high. I live in Asheville, NC and this is a huge problem here, as well. Just something to consider. Also the culture that attracted people is slowly but surely dying off because it is perhaps primarily the poor and working artists that really create and drive everyday culture in a place. I've heard the same from people in austin and other places.
Gary's a literal living Guitar God and he's just so chill. Damn.
I definitely get an endorphin rush listening to Gary playing his guitar.
Every guitarist has their own specific vibrato and bend in combination with touch of the string to give their own voice. It is all in the finger tips and their connection to the spine. The all mighty groove takes over after that. But it is all just in the touch.
