So much truth here though, if you work an office job and your at the gym, you should seriously pick up a physical job somewhere for a year it will open your eyes to the overtraining bullshit, my job was lugging 50kg bags around all day, then I would go to the gym train harder than anyone else there, and I felt great, you almost develop a sort of hatred for people that slack after that, theres so many little bitches
Just do burpees squats and dips and pulls then strength train
Crossfit makes you good at crossfit. I read a great book called Blasting Boxing Myths by Al Praktik and he claims that most training for fighting is a complete waste of time. Makes sense and has made a believer in me. Every fighter should read it
Pain is your bodies way of tlling you you are starting to do damage, if you ignore it or take painkillers to mask it and continue intensive exercise you will get Rhabdomyolysis. Pain is good but not over the top pain where you are doing too much damage.
"Swimming is bad for you because some people drown."
