AI or “artificial life”, will also have conflict. From the metal in which it will be housed, to its computer chips; anything that moves or is exposed to the elements or heat, will degrade. Materials on this planet are finite….let the parts wars begin!

FYI. My nephew gets his Electrical Engineering degree tomorrow and for the last decade has been carrying on about a career with NASA. I talked him out of that and in the fall he begins his Masters program in Machine Learning. What ever organization or Institution or Corporation or Country recruits him first, will have a absolute advantage in the race to the top.
Unfortunately we’ll have a full on nuclear war long before this will happen. We’ve already come within a hair of it several times already.
