This dude has a complete misunderstanding of Andrews point. It’s not going to happen overnight but in a span of 5 years a lot of jobs will go away. Volvo already has a completely autonomous truck, McDonald’s already as implemented ordering kiosk. Oracle already has systems that can do simple HR TASK. I hate the argument that UBI won't allow people to find meaningful work because volunteering and caregiving are meaningful work. Plus who's going to live on $1,000 a month alone?
His opinion is captured by academic biases.
What Andrew Yang means is that our society is already in the middle of the curve rather than heading to the cliffs.He already presented the solid evidences and statistics.4 millions jobs were blasted away.
Being AI expert doesn't mean you comprehend what's going on our society.
