H b o had a series about the story of great fights like this one. The story they told was from a Manny Stewart who said that right before the fight Hearns got a massage from one of his posse on his legs because he complained about sore legs. It takes a while to recover from a massage and Emmanuel.Steward was really upset. As a consequence in round two Tommy's legs looked rubbery in round two. This is why he didn't have the ability to box and move and use the reach to avoid a slug fest with haggler. Haggard would win the slugfest because he had a granite chin and Tommy had an average chin.
