IS IT WRONG TO CELEBRATE JESUS' BIRTHDAY ON DECEMBER 25th?
Since there is no conclusive evidence on what day He was born, we can choose to celebrate it on whatever day we might choose. The fact that a day used for sun worship was chosen is kind of a slap in God's face so to speak. Imagine your husband does not know his own birthday, but you want to celebrate it with him. You tell him that you would like to celebrate it on one of your old boyfriend's birthday because you really just want to forget that you used to celebrate it with him. Your husband would be like 'UH… NO!'
This is what we have done with Christmas. The church purposely chose an old boyfriend's birthday to celebrate the one true God's birthday. It's a slap in the face. Besides that, there is a day that is a whole lot more likely being during the celebration of Sukkot (or Feast of Tabernacles). Think 'God with us'.
